The entire dwelling on 309 Cross St. is infested. All 3 apartments. My in-laws live on the 1st floor and they watch my toddler during the day while my husb. and I are at work. It all started when the tenants on 2nd floor moved out abruptly, totally abandoned the place in the summer and landlord didn't bother throwing out whatever garbage that was left by those tenants. The filth was festering all throughout the summer until the 3rd floor tenants complained of a foul odor coming out of that apt. The bldg inspector was called in, inspected the 2nd floor and shortly thereafter the landlord got rid of all the garbage however he did not remove the carpets/rugs and left them to rot. For the past month and a half, the in laws have been complaining about bug bites that they were waking up with every day. They all thought that they were fleas because they have 2 cats. After checking their mattresses, it was confirmed. The mattress was COVERED in bed bug feces.
